My name is Mrs. Carrie Carr and I have been a science educator for thirteen years.
I love introducing young students to the amazing world of science and helping them see how our everyday lives are best explained using my favorite subject.
I live in Danville where I am a busy wife & mom to two boys: Ben (15) and Max (11).
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences & a Master of Public Administration degree both from Grand Valley State University. I completed a transition to teaching program thru Indiana Wesleyan University in 2004 and have been teaching ever since - with the exception of the two years I stayed at home with my boys. I started teaching in Indianapolis Public Schools, transferred to Cascade High School where I taught for 6 years (biology, anatomy, environmental science, AP Biology & Honors Biology) and then returned to teaching in March of 2014 here at Cascade Middle School where I have been ever since. I am from the state of Michigan so I love my Wolverines, Lions & Tigers!
I enjoy fishing & boating on Lake Michigan where I can get up close with nature. I enjoy baseball, tennis, hockey and football. I am working on understanding & appreciating basketball, especially now that I live in Indiana.
